The Ministry of Health operates an electronic integrated disease surveillance system (E-TB Manager) that stores data on new TB cases. Additionally, the E-TB Manager system, which keeps track of all TB cases (new and retreatment), is implemented for TB surveillance. The two systems are connected, so information on the electronic disease surveillance system is sent to E-TB Manager. At present, E-TB Manager only has a patient information component, and the NTP staff are interested in using the Quant program for anti-TB drug forecasting, quantification, and early warning. The TB information surveillance system includes both paper-based and electronic information that is entered in the database at a regional level and then processed and analyzed at the central level. This information is collected by NTP. National TB program does not publish TB data regularly. TB data is published on mass and social media only when open public TB events held, and reportages are taken from officials.
